Short version: this website doesn't collect your personal data, doesn't use cookies, and doesn't track you.
This is a single information page about the SaunaScout app. It has no accounts, no forms, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking scripts. It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.). Like any web host, GitHub processes standard server request logs, including visitors' IP addresses, for security and to serve the site. See the GitHub Privacy Statement and GitHub Pages data collection. We don't have access to those logs and don't combine them with anything else.
If you email us, we receive your message and email address and use them only to reply.
This website uses no cookies of any kind, so there is no cookie banner and nothing to consent to. If we ever add anything that needs cookies (for example website analytics), we'll update this page and ask for consent first where the law requires it.
The mobile app is a separate service with its own privacy policy, which will be published here before the app is released. In outline, the app will handle an account email and display name, your device location (to show nearby saunas), the saunas and visits you choose to save, and basic diagnostics — with data stored via our backend provider, Supabase. The full policy will set out sub-processors, retention periods, and how to exercise your rights.
This section is a summary of intent, not the final app privacy policy.
Under UK GDPR you have rights over any personal data we hold about you, including access, correction, and deletion. As above, the website itself holds none. For anything else, contact us.
